Bike Universe Bikes: Dirt, Electric and Pedal

Bikes in Bike Universe come in three official classes. How dirt, electric and pedal bikes differ, what the Surge pass adds, and how to pick your first one.

Bike Universe Bikes: Dirt, Electric and Pedal

Bike Universe divides every bike in the game into three classes: dirt, electric and pedal. That single line in the store description is the only official taxonomy the game gives you, and it is enough to make a sensible first choice. What follows is what each class means, the one bike the developer has named, and how to judge a purchase without a published price list.

The Three Classes

The description says "collect many new bikes (Dirt, Electric, Pedal)" and stops there. No count, no stats, no tiers. So the classes have to be understood from what those words mean on a real motorcycle:

Class Real-world basis What that should mean in the game
Dirt Off-road motorcycle, long travel suspension, knobbly tyres Jumps, landings and loose ground are its territory
Electric Battery and motor, torque from zero rpm Instant throttle, which makes low-speed wheelies and launches easier
Pedal Human-powered bicycle Lightest and least powerful, so route choice matters more than throttle

Treat the right-hand column as a reading of the names, not as tested stats. The game has not published acceleration, top speed or handling numbers for any bike, and no third-party source has measured them credibly.

The One Named Bike: Stark Varg

There is exactly one bike the developer has put a name to, and it is behind a gamepass. Surge Electric, 399 Robux, official text: "Grants you the stark varg in game."

The Stark Varg is a real electric motocross bike, so this is not a fantasy name. It sits in the electric class, it is the first pass the game ever added (October 7, 2026), and its description was edited as recently as October 23. If you want a specific machine rather than a generic upgrade, this is the only purchase in the store with a concrete promise attached.

What the pass does not tell you is how it rides. No stats, no comparison to the free electric bikes, no preview. The gamepasses guide covers the price comparison in full; the short version is that 399 Robux buys a bike, not an advantage you can verify before paying.

The Luxury Pack Question

The most expensive item in the store is Luxury Pack at 599 Robux, added on October 12, and its description is blank. The name suggests a premium bike or a bundle of premium vehicles. That is an inference from the name and nothing more, so it is worth saying plainly: nobody outside the developer knows what is inside it.

Two things are verifiable. It costs three times the 2X Cash pass, and it was added on the same day as More Builds, which suggests both came out of one design pass over the store. If you are choosing between the two, the multiplier is the safer buy, because its effect is described by its name and it applies to everything.

How Collecting Works

"Collect many new bikes" is the whole official sentence. In practice, in a game structured like this, collecting means buying bikes with the cash you earn from riding, with the Robux store as a shortcut for a handful of specific machines. The game has not published a bike list or prices, and we will not invent one.

What you can rely on:

  • Cash comes from riding, wheelies and tricks. The money guide shows how to measure your own rate.
  • The store only ever sells a few vehicles. Six passes exist in total, and only two of them name or imply a vehicle.
  • Everything else in your garage is earned. That is the intended loop, and it is the reason the game can run without a battle pass.

How to Judge a Bike Without a Stat Sheet

Since the game publishes nothing, the only honest method is testing. Four checks, in order of usefulness:

  1. Straight-line test. Pick the same stretch of road, run it three times, and count seconds. Same rider, same start, same line. That gives you a rough top speed ranking.
  2. Wheelie hold. Pull up at the same speed and hold. A bike that balances easily is worth more than a bike that is fast and twitchy, because wheelies are income.
  3. Landing test. Find a drop you can repeat and land it five times. If you crash more than once, the suspension is not carrying you.
  4. Corner exit. Ride the same corner and see how early you can get back on the throttle. This is where electric torque usually shows up.

Do the tests on the free bikes first, so you have a baseline before you spend anything. A purchase you cannot compare is a purchase you cannot evaluate.

Tune before you buy

A tuned bike you understand beats a stock bike you do not. Upgrades change how a machine behaves, so learning one bike's limits first makes every later purchase easier to judge. The customisation guide covers what tuning actually changes.

Dirt, Electric or Pedal First?

There is no official recommendation, so here is the reasoning a new player can act on:

  • If you want to learn tricks, start with dirt. Suspension is the thing that saves bad landings.
  • If you want to learn wheelies, electric is the easier classroom, because torque arrives immediately and you can practise at low speed.
  • If you want to learn the map, pedal is the cheapest way to see it. You will not outrun anyone, which forces you to learn routes instead of straights.

Whichever you pick, the bike you start on is not the bike you will keep. The classes are a menu, not a commitment, and cash buys the rest.

FAQ

How many bikes are in Bike Universe? The game says "many" and has never published a count. Do not trust a specific number from a site that is not the developer.

What is the best bike in Bike Universe? Unverifiable. No stats are published, so "best" depends on what you are doing: dirt for landings, electric for throttle response, pedal for cheap map knowledge.

Does the Surge Electric pass give a permanent bike? Yes, gamepasses are permanent purchases on Roblox, and the official text says it grants the Stark Varg in game.

Can you get the Stark Varg without Robux? No. It is tied to the Surge Electric gamepass at 399 Robux.
